Weekly Update: Two Items on Z. Bennett Lorimer’s 2025 Bucket List

Working hard at writing cartoon

Holy Eff, it’s December. I hope you’ve all finished digesting your turduckens.

December 1 is traditionally the day when all the “I’ll finish that by end of year” promises I made to myself (and to all of you) crash into reality. The end of 2025 is no longer some inchoate moment in the far far future, a blissful deadline infinitely distant from the present day. I can no longer ignore the fact that I’ve got 31 24-hour days left to do all the things.

In the spirit of transparency, I’ve got two big-ticket items left to accomplish before the ball drops over Times Square:

  1. I absolutely need to finish the polish draft of The Mark of Cain (Tales of Ciel Book 3)
  2. I need to get to “The End” on the first draft of What Lies Between (The Divine Heretic Book 2)

These are both attainable goals, but I’ll need to be efficient. Thank you all for tuning in each week to keep me honest.
