Seven Days of Mercy for the Apostatic Priest is Gaining Momentum

Seven Days of Mercy for the Apostatic Priest Front Cover

Happy New Year! We’re hitting the ground running in 2026, with the debut of The Divine Heretic series just 12 days away.

ARC reader and freelance editor Filipa Roque posted a brilliant and thoughtful review of Seven Days of Mercy for the Apostatic Priest. Here’s a nice pull-quote:

“By the close, I was left thinking differently about loyalty, about how people are changed by the pressures they face. The book never feels as though it is lecturing; its tone has a kind of structure, almost like a chronicle, but it never forgets to care for its characters and what they endure. For those of us who enjoy stories built on deep and complicated worlds, with a touch of philosophy, it will be a rewarding read.”

Thank you, Filipa. There’s a lot to unpack in Seven Days of Mercy, but I’m heartened to hear you found the process an enriching one. We’re just a few weeks away from the January 13 release date, so it’s nice to see the buzz starting to build. Pre-orders are gaining momentum, driven by the Editor’s Pick award from Publishers Weekly and IR Approved honors from IndieReader. The Trade Paperback is currently outselling the Ebook at a rate of about 10:1.

If you got your hands on the ARC and would like to leave a review, there’s no time like the present. And if you haven’t pre-ordered your copy yet, let me just get out my handy link…
