HTP is an independent press based in Ames, IA, dedicated to publishing the work of science fiction and fantasy author Z. Bennett Lorimer.

Our mission is to cut through the red tape of the traditional publishing process and bring readers the high-quality content they demand at the pace they deserve. We owe everything to our readers, and we recognize that art is a dialogue between artist and audience, a relationship built on mutual trust.

Z. Bennett Lorimer is a graduate of the 2014 Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Workshop at UC-San Diego. He holds an MFA in fiction from Iowa State University and is the former managing editor of the international literary journal Flyway: Journal of Writing and Environment. A Long Island native, he currently lives in Ames, IA, with his partner and children.
